So I watch too little television to actually speak with any real authority.  But anyway.

Cut for asinine opinions. )

OK, so I finally checked out the Emmy noms.  So I can't comment all that much because I've seen about 3 or 4 shows that are eligible this year; off the top of my head in the drama and comedy categories, the drama series I've watched this year are Mad Men, Dexter, Dollhouse, some of Chuck before I gave up on it in mid-season, and Lost; for comedy series I've seen all of The Office and most of Parks and Recreation and 30 Rock.  The reason it's "most" in the latter two cases is because when I lost my laptop I also lost my only way to watch TV regularly; I have computer access regularly from campus but it's not convenient to stream.  I managed to catch up on The Office at home but that's about it.

So as far as the nominations, I'm in the position where I've seen almost no shows.  And yet, I'm still annoyed, not because my darlings were left off (it's not like I was holding my breath for Olivia Williams or Fran Kranz or Enver Gjokaj to get a supporting acting nods), but, weirdly, because of what was on.
Cut for length and probably unpopular, negative opinions re: most things that aren't Mad Men )

Oh well.  Yay Mad Men!
